Description

Clear red/brown beer with a thick frothy head. Smell is light, slightly bready, a bit of caramel. Flavour has fruit, caramel, a little spice, malt. It's decent enough and I imagine if you like Leffe's stuff you'll like this but it's nothing special and has a slightly watery feel and finish which is unfortunate and surprising for the strength.

Amber color with a sweet, fruity, and clove aroma similar to a Hefeweizen. Taste is like a toned down tripel. Alcohol, sweet malt, banana, slight spice burn at the end.

Straightforward aromas of pale malt, Belgian yeast and candy sugar. Flavors get more interesting with spicy flavors like cloves and coriander come out. on the sweet side but with good carbonation and a hint of bitter to balance. Nice body and finish.

Bottle online from Beerhawk. Pours a dark brown with a reddish hue and a large creamy beige head. Aromas of dry dark fruits, caramel, brown bread and a hint of chocolate. Taste has more dark fruits, more caramel, chocolate, brown bread and some brown sugar on the finish. Medium body with a smooth slightly oily mouthfeel. Very nice Dubbel.
