Bottle. Lightly hazy orange-gold, decent head. Slight banana nose with a hint of sweetness, a bit earthy. Nice hop balance for the full (but not sweet) body, I prefer this to the overly-sweet Weizen. A bit of lemon on the finish... Nice!

Süßlich getreidiger Beginn, der mehr nach Chili riecht als schmeckt. Wirklich scharf ist es nicht, etwas Gemüse, leichte Herbe. Spritzig, etwas trocken, mittellanger Abgang. Ok. 8/9/9/8/9/9

330ml Bottle - Golden with a slight haze and a foamy head. Orange, grass, grapefruit and hay in the aroma. Hoppy and fairly resinous taste with a subtle sweetness and notes of orange and grapefruit.

Bottle, Bierkiste. Red amber, offwhite head. Lightly oxidized earthy notes. Medium body, fine sparkly mouthfeel. Light juniper, herbal aromatics, cheesecake, lightest citru retronasal. Hops can't have been fresh.

clear darker golden colour, medium sized creamy slightly ecru-ish white head; aroma of bread crusty, grainy, hay, some herbal, celery and orange peel, as well as pomelo notes; taste is similar to the aroma with some spicy-celery notes; better than I expected - I like it very much

Die Optik zeigt ein klares, sehr dunkelgüldenes bis leicht bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit schöner feiner Perlage. Die weiße, fein- bis mittelporige Schaumkrone ist dabei flaumig-wässerig und hält mäßig gut. Sehr auffällige hopfige Duftaromatik mit grasigen, leicht kräuterartigen und fruchtig-herben Noten, die stilistisch mehr an IPAs, als an klassische Helle erinnern. Der Antrunk wirkt überaus frisch, feinspritzig, zartmalzig und deutlich fruchtig-herb hopfenaromatisch. Am Gaumen präsentiert sich ein sehr harmonischer, vollmundiger Körper, dessen Hauptaugenmerk auf der fruchtig-herben Hopfenaromatik liegt. Das Spiel zwischen leichter Süße und leichter Säure wirkt dabei ebenfalls durchaus ausgewogen. Trotz eines ungewohnt herben Charakters, zeigt dieses Helle ein gutes Mundgefühl und eine ebenso gute Süffigkeit. Im Nachtrunk klingen die leicht süßlich-fruchtigen Aromen langsam aus, es wird kurz trocken herb, um am Schluss in eine fruchtig-herbe Hopfenaromatik zu enden. Fazit: Ein tolles Helles abseits des klassischen Wegs. Bemerkenswert!
