16 oz can purchased at BKS Artisan Ales in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is opaque black, brown with a tiny bit of amber and a one inch, well formed, retentive light tan head. Pretty beer. The aroma is a soft gentle roast, crazy fresh faintly caramel sweet malt and a lovely grassiness. Very engaging nose. The taste is the gentle, fresh roast, with iced tea crystal malt, the whisper of caramel sweet malt and finishes quite dry with grass and underlying mineral. The palate is light to medium bodied, active carbonation and the drying roast mineral finish. Crazy drinkable, really nice beer.
