Sampled from the tap at Winter Dabbler. Pours near black with a dark brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of sweet dark grains, light roast and a bit of bread. Flavor has notes of toffee, sweet dark grains and a bit of bread.

Sampled from the tap at Winter Dabbler. Pours black with a creamy dark brown head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has sweet dark grains, a light milk note and a bit of roasted malts. Flavor is quite sweet with chocolate, slight toffee and a bit of roasted malts underlying.

Sampled from the tap at Winter Dabbler. Pours a hazy deep gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of grass, pine, grain and a bit of corn. Flavor has lots of straw and grass with bread and pine supporting.

Tap at Lake Monster. Orange color. Bitter hop aroma and dry, biter flavor. Some grass. Bitter finish with a hint of citrus.

Full poir at Lake Monster. Dark brown. Light carbonationm they nailed the bock flavor, lager yeast, sweet, some caramel. Light roasted flsvor as well, and some grain in the finish. A good tap room bock.

Sampled from the tap at the St. Paul Summer Beer Fest. Pours a near clear deep gold with an off-white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a bit of a bread note with earthy citrus and a touch of sweetness. Flavor has a bit more bitter citrus with an earthy note and a bread backbone.

Sampled from the Firkin at Happy Gnome Firkin Fest 2015. Pours a cloudy brown with a brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of dark grains, chocolate and vanilla with a hint of roasted malts. Flavor has more vanilla coming through with some dark grains, chocolate and roasted malt supporting.

12oz bottle pours a clear, dark gold with some creamy, white head. Nose has some corn, some straw, a little yeast, some lemon, a little leafy hop. Smells like Cascade hops. Flavor is a little bit astringent, like dry hopping gone wrong, lemon, cleaning fluid, some wet flour. Oily finish.

Sampled from the tap. Pours a clear crisp gold eyed a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a nice grass crispness with grain and hay backing. Flavor has some grass up front that mellows into a hay and sweet grain finish.
