About
The Knoblach inn has been in Schammelsdorf since 1880 and it has been brewing there for about this long. Today Michael Knoblach is the resident master brewer. The Knoblachs are deeply rooted in their homeland and maintain good contact with regional suppliers and farmers. They attach great importance to preserving and actively promoting the diversity of the Bamberg region. For this purpose, the raw materials are, as far as possible, bought exclusively from the region. This not only has the advantage of boosting the domestic economy, but is also reflected in the quality. The ingredients couldn't be fresher.

Sehr gelungen! /11/11/12//12

Bottle @ Bamberg. Pours clear dark golden with a small off white head. Nose is grain, caramel and grassy hops. Flavor is dry and hoppy. Grain grass and very dry and bitter. A bit of skunk and some mouldy notes. Otherwise this would have been a really great beer. 2.8. Re-rate partyvass jan 2019. Awesome maltyness. Caramel , bread and fruit. Really lovely. 2.8-4,0

Reddish-brown colour. Very toasty aroma - quite appetizing with a hint of chocolate. Metallic on the palate a bit, with hints of chocolate and light toastiness. Complex, nice lager.

Ceramic mug. Incredibly appetizing toasty, breadcrusty aroma. Very tasty country lager with a smooth malt character and a toasty accent towards the off-dry finish.
