500mL bottle at Stout week line share, 2/17/24. Dark, thick, clear no head. Bright pepper, graphite, some cherry-vanilla, bit more roast than usual. Bit of alcohol, but not hot. Not sugary. Quite chocolatey, very barrel forward. Lighter bodied relative to the very biggest. Spice, wood, heavy pepper, heavy dark chocolate and good malt with pretty good attenuation. Clean and well-done.

16 oz can in a trade with tfontana. Great yeast phenols of banana, clove, light spice. It is obvious that the Brewer used authentic German yeast varieties. Nice chewy yeast texture with a spicy clove finish. Mild banana and bubblegum. In a blind taste test I would say this was a German brewer.

Bottle thanks to Paul. Pours black with no head. The aroma is strong bourbon, vanilla, roast, wood, licorice. Slick body, vanilla, wood, bourbon, dark fruit, cloying sweetness, very nice.

5 oz. pour on tap as part of a flight at the brewery. It's an opaque black with small beige head with fair retention and light lacing. Aroma and taste are similar with strong roasted malt, hazelnut, coconut. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth frothy texture soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, this is like a pastry stout! Don't know if they were intentionally going for some coconut but there's decent complexity, excellent strength and great balance. Delicious!

5 oz. pour on tap as part of a flight at the brewery. It's a pale yellow with no sparkle, ring of white head. Aroma is light fruit, bitter hops, yeast. Taste is similar to aroma but more fruit forward. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with frothy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, a gook Kolsch-Style with better taste than flavor.

5 oz. pour on tap as part of a flight at the brewery. It's a pale light red (like watered down cherry juice) with no sparkle, no head or lacing. Aroma is strong blackberry and graham cracker. Taste follows aroma with good balance between sweet and tart. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with thin, smooth, frothy texture, soft-to-average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, very nice.

Overall, good strength and decent complexity. Quite good.

Can pour from Total Wine & More, Brentwood. It's a hazy, dark golden yellow with tons of sparkle, finger width white foamy head with poor retention and trace lacing. Aroma is strong wheat, clove, bubblegum and yeast. Taste is strong wheat, banana and bubblegum. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thin texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, crisp and light. A good representative of the style and delivers all it sets out to.

Pour is a clear blonde with a large white head. Aroma is grain malt and a little lime. I don't think lime was used in this brewing but maybe it's the hops. Flavor is more grainy neutral malt. Finish is clean and watery. Decent watery and refreshing lager best when drank super cold.
