Pours black, small head. Aroma is thick, sweet and full of coffee. Roasted malts bring in some extra sourness into the body. Taste is also thick, heavy roast. Tobacco, smoke and large dark plum with a bitter deed. Taste lingers for longer, slightly sweet, fruity. Good beer for slow sipping.

33cl bottle at J.R. Schrammi Keller, Tartu. Pours hazy golden to orange with a white head. Yeadty aroma with some fruity notes, unripe bananas and hints of spices. Medium sweet with some sourness and a slightly dry finish. Drinkable enough, but hardly impressive.

0,33L bottle, BB 12.2016. Pours dark ruby with tan head. The head stays for some time. Aroma is sweet, fruits, berries, malt, hint of alcohol. Flavor is sweet and bitter, nutty, malt, fruits, berries, caramel. Finish is long and very dry bitter with sweetness and some alcohol burn. Overall: weird one. At first feels somewhat messy and I didn’t like the first sip at all, but as I drink it, I like it more and more.

0,33L bottle, BB 12.2017. Pours dark brown-black with brown head. The head stays for a moment. Aroma is intense roast, malt, oak, some alcohol. Flavor is sweet, coffee, dark chocolate, roast, malt. Overall: lovely brew, feels so simple, but at the same time very heavy and intense. I would really love to share this beer with someone, not because it’s bad, but because it just feels like it wants to be shared :) Update: 9+ months old sample, and I like it even more. Bump +1 to overall.

0,33L bottle, no BB or batch info. Pours hazy amber with off-white head. The head stays for some time. Aroma is sweet, fruits, citrus, yeast, wheat, and faint metallic notes. Flavor is very sweet, wheat, yeast, fruits, spices, some bitterness and tart. It doesn’t feel watery like some weizens do, but does feel homebrewsih. Overall: I seem to like weizens more than average rater and this one is ok by me.
