16oz can from the can. Nose is huge toast and charred grain and even some big roast oats. Coffee is there with brown sugar and chicory. Flavor is malty, sweet and chewy, coffee and chicory and licorice. Nice. Balanced. Some roasty astringency and medium bodied. Dry. 7 3 8 4 14

Biggest 4oz pour I've ever seen, murky black with some beige head. Nose has huge chocolate and brown sugar and malt and molasses. Flavor is mostly malt and cocoa and pumpernickel. Full bodied, malty, chewy finish. Decent.

Sample at the brewery, clear gold with some sudsy white head. Nose has soapy and citrus, simple grist, some lemony tea. Flavor is c hops and malt and soap and some pine. Medium bodied, astringent finish.

Sample at the brewery, clear gold with some white head. Nose has fruity hop, new world for sure, some grist and yeast, light honey. Flavor is a bit simple, green grassy hop and soap and fruit. Off dry finish.

Sample at the brewery, murky orange with some creamy beige head. Nose has big yeast character, clear Brett, grist, dried herbs, green. Flavor is old school Brett bier, yeast, grist, herbs, some phenols. Off dry, long herbal finish.

On tap at 6.5%. Murky burnt orange with a ring of white head. Nose is soapy, sudsy, some grist, some honey, C hops. Flavors similar. Piney now too. Medium bodied, bitter finish.

4oz sample at the brewery is a clear yellow with some sudsy white head. Nose has soap and pale grist, some potpourri. Flavor is simple, lemony and herbal, soap. Finishes a bit watery and a little slick.

Draught@TCBW2018. Deep amber colour with a mediumsized creamy white head. Aroma is funk, some sweet fruitiness as well as some malts. Flavour is funky, some farmyard as well as some sweet fruitiness and mild wood. Crisp maltiness too.

Draught@TCBW2018. Black colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, some coffee, chocolate, oats, mild nutty and a bit ashy tones. Flavour is chocolate, roasted malts, coffee, some nutty and mild oat notes. Finishes a bit grainy and rather roasted.

Draught@TCBW2018. Hazy golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some citrus, earth, yeast and mild bready notes. Flavour is very much the same elements. OK, but nothing that special.
