12oz can, flimsy label, burnt orange with a ring of white head. Nose is nice. Cool. Honey, candy, yeast, herbs. The barrel is there. Feels more Irish than bourbon but i won't debate. Some root veg and even a little scented candle. Flavor is like up scaled Curieux, which is mu favorite Allagash so that's a compliment. Honeycomb and herbs, candy and malt, big dried flowers and big vanilla barrel. Full bodied and sticky. Even a little hot. But I thought this was really well made. I really enjoy this.

Sample at Haandfest 2019. Unclear golden orange body with a small white head. Aroma is acidic fruity, cider and yeast. Flavor is pale malt, acidic apple cider, yeast. Medium body and refreshing sour aftertaste. A bit one-dimensional but sure nice.

Sample at Haandfest 2019. Black body wit a dense, lacing beige head. Aroma has dark malt, oak, chocolate, mild Bourbon and also hint of aquavit. Flavor is sweet, roasted dark malt, chocolate, wood, Bourbon with hint of vanilla and I still get this warming aquavit feeling. Fine body and smooth, long lasting aftertaste. Solid one.

Sample at Haandfest 2019. Unclear pale golden body with a small white head. Aroma is fruity and acidic with pale malt and wood. Flavor is sour fruity, malt and warming alcohol with a dry finish. Medium body and nice aftertaste.

Sample at Haandfest 2019. Murky dark orange to amber body with a small off-white head. Fruity aroma, sour berries, red wine and funk with a little hint of wood. The flavor goes in the same direction, fruity, sour berries, vinous, funky, some Brett but can’t really find any blueberries. Fine body and long lasting aftertaste. Nice one.

13 oz draft. Aroma is roasted malts and oatmeal. Flavor is very roasty. Mild ash with soft char. Good body and texture. Overall, very roasty. Paired well with my fish and chips, but I don’t think I would order it again.

16 oz can. Aroma is chocolate and vanilla. Flavor is mostly the same. Cake batter, coffee, and a soft bitterness. Was hoping for a bit more from this. Texture and body are decent.

Aroma is chocolate, coffee, vanilla. Taste follows but would more vanilla to balance the over roasted coffee bitterness.
