On tap at Haandfest. It's close to black in the glass, with a light brown finger-thick head leaving lacing. The aroma has roasted malts, coffee and some dark chocolate, with a good dash of oats. It's full-bodied, smooth and nicely carbonated and surprisingly dryish on the palate. Roasted malts, dark chocolate and lots of delicious coffee in the flavor, with biscuity maltyness in the back. Quite a lot of cocoa too. Lasting finish. A very tasteful and easy drinkable on indeed. 190503

On tap at Haandfest. It pours a hazy yellow-orange colored body under a minimal sized white head. Pleasant but a bit boozy aroma, with pale malts in the back, and a generic fruityness doing most of the work. Black pepper and some grass and herbal notes too. It's full-bodied, semi-dry and quite warming on the palate, more warming than the seemingly equally strong non-barreled edition, with a decent bitterness and a pleasant sweetness level. White sugar, bready pale malts, fruityness and a touch of wood and vanilla in the flavor. Black pepper and a herbal touch too, and a lasting finish. As for the regular edition, a slightly lower ABV wouldn't hurt, and it seems strange that these should be of identical ABV as the BA edition feels much more warming and alcoholic. Prefer the regular one. 190503

On tap at Haandfest. A lightly hazy yellow-orange colored beer with a minimal sized off-white head. The aroma has pale malts in the back, with a rather generic fruitynes, and some peppery hints. Surprisinly low on alcohol considering the ABV. It's full-bodied, semi-dry and nicely carbonated, with a little warmth. The flavor has some white sugar sweetness, a decent bitterness, some herbal notes and a touch of black pepper, but mostly it's a generic fruityness and some pale malts. Lasting finish with a herbal bitterness touch. Overall, a bit herbal, and slightly lower ABV wouldn't hurt, but it's pleasant anyway. 190503

Bottle, at Haandfest. It's an unclear yellowish orange colored beer with a finger-thick off-white head. The aroma has wood, pepper hints, vague notes of berries and lemon, with a generic fruityness and a pleasant funky touch. It's smooth, full to medium bodied and quite dry on the palate, with a soft bitterness. Fruity, lightly funky flavor with some pale malts in the far back. Pepper notes, woody hints that I guess comes from the juniper, some generic berry notes and a lemony touch in the flavor. Lasting fruity finish. A super-mellow, tasteful and refreshing beer. 190503

On tap at Haandfest. It's an unclear yellow colored beer topped by a dense, finger-thick white head. Some curtains. The aroma if quite fruity, with some spiced, peppery notes and pale malts, yeast and a hint of cellar. It's perhaps a bit heavy on the carbonation, but it works fine as it is, with a medium to full body. Quite dry, with a pleasant bitterness. Some tropical fruit notes in the mostly fruity flavor, with citrus zest, generic fruityness, peppery hints, yeast notes and pale malts. Lasting fruity finish. A very pleasant, very fruity beer showcasing the yeast in a very fine way. 190503

Bottle at share from explosivedog: pours orange gold with a small head. Aroma is vanilla, light farmhouse, citrus, spice, wood. Taste is not too sweet, heavier on farmside, but still has a subtle tripel taste going on. All over the place, but nice.
