This classy clear glass screw top 40 is courtesy of Aaron and it was shared at a nice big tasting. It pours with a clear gold body that supports a thin white head. The aroma offers up pears, apples, sweet corn, some booze and sugary sweetness. Not all that offensive for the style, which makes it less to style. The taste is super sweet pears and apples mixed with only a moderate degree of booziness and corn and slight boozy chemicals. All in all rather less offensive than I thought it would be.

Big fucken bottle @ MJ’s house. Thanks bro! Pours a clear yellow appearance with a fizzy white head. Lemonade, corny, vanilla, fucken smooth aroma. A bit tangy lemon, light grape drank, big apple cider, moderately sweet flavor. Smooth. Drinks good.

12oz can. Waxy plastic sweet aroma. If you aren’t smoking crack, this beer probably won’t satisfy. Pretty offensive, horrid actually.

Can. Pours crystal clear orange with a medium beige head that disappears quickly with some lacing. Aroma is grain, caramel, corn syrup, popcorn. Flavor is surprisingly OK. Medium sweet, light grassy bitter. A refreshing macro for a hot summer day. Light body.

1183ml bottle from a local bodega poured into a snifter. Aroma is sweet. Sweet malt and grains. Taste is medium sweet. Grape skin and cotton candy water with boozy sweetness. Tastes way stronger than 8.2. Full nodied with a slick texture. Lively carbonation and a very long finish. Overall, meh. Not that good but ive had much worse.

I’m honored to share this beer for Kinz’s 3000th rating! Can from Amity Wines, New Haven, shared at the 20th Richmond Gathering. Pours a clear amber color with a thin fizzy head. Aroma of caramel malts, grassy hops, banana. The taste is grassy hops, tart fruits, corn. Thin-medium bodied.

OK, cheap beer from city, not expecting much. Smells like volatile fermented corn. First taste is strong and approahing nasty, taste of cheap high alky pale lager. Srong near gag reflex back of throat. Finish is tolerable, jsut barely.

Can from Ray’s in Chico, CA. Pours brassy gold with a creamy white head. Aroma is sweet and grainy. Med body. Flavor is blah corny/grainy. No fusil oil aspects so it’s not harmful. Heat is not much of an issue. Just no point.
