50cl bottle from Selver, Tallinn. Pours Coca-Cola coloured with a very short lived off-white head. Mild malty and caramely aroma with hints of roast. Sweet and caramely, fairly weak in flavour and not much bitterness. Boring, but drinkable.

Draught @ Hell Hunt as ”Hell Hunt Ale”. Rated on 22.12.2013
Aroma is sweet with bready malt, caramel and hints of metal. Flavour is sweet with toffee, caramel and finishes with hints of metal. Somewhat refreshing and English. Decent, I expected this to be worse.

500 ml bottle. Pours clear, pale golden with a small bubbly head - that soon reduces into a thin lacing. Looks pretty watery and probably tastes the same. Aroma has some corn, bread and gasoline - just what I have grown to expect from Viru Õlu since their Frederik days. Obviously this beer is not meant to be drunk for its aroma nor taste. First sip - it tastes pretty much like beer flavoured sour water, leaving a small hint of rubber and biscuit. Finish is quite short, this beer can indeed be drunk as fast as you drink water, made for large gulps. After sauna this is fine, otherwise… not.

50cl bottle from Tallinna Kaubamaja. Pours clear copper with a minimal white head. Aroma of malt and caramel with notes of dark fruits. Reminds me a bit of kvass. Quite sweet and malty with a light bitterness in the finish. A bit watery and quite boring, but drinkable enough. (2013-11-10)

50cl bottle from Tallinna Kaubamaja. Pours Coca Cola coloured with an off-white head. Mild aroma of ripe, sweet cherries, almond and hints of malt. Sweet and quite fruity, a bit artificial, more like cherry candy. Farily light bodied. Some bitterness. Desserty and not quite my thing, but still fairly drinkable. (2013-11-10)

Bottled 500ml Dark brown color, tiny vanishing off-white head. Cellary and metallic aroma. Medium-bodied. Sweet, metal, toffee, some odd herbal notes. Quite a disaster.

50cl bottle from Stockmann Tallinn. Pours very dark brown, almost black, with a rather small, beige head. Moderate malty aroma with dried fruits, some lightly spicy and roasty notes and hints of caramel and metal. Medium sweet and malty with a lightly bitter finish. Not as sweet as expected and quite well balanced actually. A bit watery and mild in flavour, but quite drinkable. This one was from last year so maybe a year in my closet has done some good to the beer. --- Beer merged from original tick of Jõulusokk on 28 Oct 2013 at 18:10 - Score: 6
