Description
A bunch of friends who started brewing NOLO beers during the 1st lockdown. After a fairly successful first launch we went a bit rogue and made about 9 beers in 3 months, people kept wanting more so, we kept making them. We didn't quite intend to start a company and carry on after lockdown ended, but here we are.

440ml can. Pours an opaque and extremely pale yellow, ghostly as they describe it, with a volatile white head that disappears instantly. Aroma is intensely hoppy just like a real DIPA, pineapple, passionfruit, mango, berries. Taste is intensely hoppy, almost some hop burn in fact, pineapple, passionfruit, peach, berries, citrusy finish. Light bodied, fizzy. In terms of low-alc beers this is outstanding.

Can 440ml (5piste5, Turku)
A bit hazy yellow colour, small white head. Aroma has citrus, grain and some yeast fumes. Light-bodied. Crisp, pale malts, some citrus, not too much wortyness. Okish as such.

Keg at Fierce bar, Edinburgh. Murky amber body with a thin white head. No visible carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of lightly roasted malt and green pepper. Flavour of yellow pepper and vine tomatoes. Thin to medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. Interesting and refreshing.

Can thanks to my bro. It pours hazy deep orange - amber with a decent frothy white head. The aroma is sweet - sour, bright tropical fruits, ripe grapefruit, tangy lime, sherbet, sweet pineapple, sappy and piney. The taste is dry, snappy, bitter piney vibes, a bit green, dank, resinous, sappy, then it gets fruity, pithy, zesty, lemon - lime, grapefruit, some tropical fruit punch and then it dries out through the finish. Light+ body and average carbonation. I am always skeptical of fruited IPAs, but this one works out well. The west coast base can handle the fruit. Plenty of flavour for the abv.

Can thanks to my bro. It pours hazy murky orange - amber with a dissipating white head. The aroma is sweet, sticky, sappy, oily, resinous, green, dank action, touch of ripe stone fruits....peach, apricot and the like. The taste is firmly dry, pleasing bitterness, sappy, resinous, pine, green, weedy, sticky dankness, ripe orangey stone fruit, a touch of marmalade and spice with a drying finish. Light+ body and fine, prickly carbonation. Well done. Moreish.
