The colour of grapefruit juice, this one just oozes class. Passionfruit, pineapple, grapefruit, pine needles, stonefruit, honey, a touch of toast. A creamy mouthfeel as you'd expect, with a tangy element and a smooth finish. I had to stop myself from drinking this in a matter of minutes.

First beer from Canvent 2019. Hazy yellow. Mango and passionfruit nose. Juicy fruitbomb with welcome hop burn. Here's to Xmas.

On tap. Black, no real head. Little bit of chocolate on nose. I'm a big fan of milk stouts, but this is a very thin, very dull example.

Can. Pale gold with a white head. Aroma has an odd earthy berry note I don't like; some lemon, crackers, spices that are fine. Very light bodied, quite fizzy. Lean and crackery with citrus and spices at the dryish bitter end. But that note intrudes all the way. [edit - tried again, just not for me]

Interesting. But strange. Quite malty, only light blackberry at end. Saison yeastiness comes on later

Can. Opaque brownish yellow with a head that's soon less than a coat. There is (_again_) no indication on the can that this is hazy/ murky/ NEIPA/ sludge bomb/ juicy. Why withhold this obviously pertinent information? I guess rather than buy their beers when they first appear in shops I'll wait until someone else adds them and they accrue a few ratings with an adequate description (and then end up passing on them because they're no longer likely to be fresh). Anyway. Aroma of grass, grapefruit, greenish mango, chewed crackers. Smooth at first with a bit of a throat burn at the end. Fruity with tropical fruit - greenish mango, pineapple - citrus, grass, resin. Quite bitter at the end along with the hop burn.

Can. Opaque brownish orange with a white head that fades to a fat coat. It is annoying that it's labelled Pacific NW IPA and it's still sludge. Mild peach aroma with some herbal notes. 6- Somewhat chalky texture with lowish carbonation. Stone fruit, ripe pineapple with some chewed crackers, low bitterness. Not that good, then -.1 for annoyance value.

Can. Pear juice cloudy. Big Simcoe nose, so loads of stonefruit. Chewy like a NEIPA but piney enough to claim West Coast status. Refreshingly different.
