Canned 15 Jan. Pale gold with a modest white head. Aroma of citrus and candied citrus - lemon, grapefruit, oranges. The aroma is nice enough but the taste is more vibrant with a burst of various citrus fruit, some tropical fruit before fairly subtle pine and really only moderately high bitterness nonetheless grips because the finish is dry. Not terribly complex but just does it really well. That this is my favourite Mr Banks so far probably just says I'm old.

A disappointing WCIPA that lacks bite and doesn't make up for it with a particularly interesting flavour. Aromas of pine and lemon lead into a nice full body with an inoffensive pine taste. Sudsy and full, the palate is probably the best thing about this beer.

Can. Pours opaque orange. Orange and passionfruit nose. Certainyl hoppy and juicy, but with surprising minerality. Also thin in mouth relative to appearance. Almost a 'gateway hazy'.

500ml can. Pours like orange juice. Smells like orange juice. Tastes like orange juice with a nice hop kick in the back end. So very fluffy in the mouth. En pointe for sure.

Can. Opaque yellow. Pineapple, orange nose. Chewy as all hell. Immense juiciness, but with bitterness to make it beer... A wonderful beer.

500ml can. Hazy muddy gold. Orange and pine needles nose. Juicy in flavour, dry in style. Hop burn aplenty. A gem.

Can. Really black with a cm of brown head that fades to a fat coat and then is at the rim. Brooding boozy mocha aroma with vanilla, dark syrupy sugars. No sign of pretzels in the aroma but they nip in the end in taste - there's a crackery and salty bit to the end along with some hard roast and light bitterness that for a little while (90ml?) nicely offsets the sweet vanilla, caramel and chocolate that comes before. There's a bit of a Crunchie-like honeycomb feel to the caramel too. Cloying before I've drunk half.

Can for Carwyn Collaborational. Black. Oily. Smells like sugar, vanilla and love. Tastes like someone swirled a salty pretzel in a chocolate stout. God, that works like a Dusty Martin float pass...

From a 355ml can on 26/9/2020. Pours a murky straw colour with bugger all head. The nose is grassy, herbal with lots of citrus notes. Tastes fresh sharp and citrussy, with oddles of orange and lemon, with a nice, reasonably firm, slightly spicy bitterness at the back. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Very refreshing, tasty and well made.
