Can. Gold with a good inch of white head that's soon a fat coat. Aroma of hay, bread, flowers, light spices and a little lemon. Moderately sweet and bready with a modestly bitter floral finish. Not sure what makes it a Festbier but it's a solid, wholesome drop.

Malmö October tasting at Palace Hall (14/10/2023) - tart and also sweet fruity with notes of mango and some vanilla sweetness, medium body, exotic fruity and vanilla infused finish.

Can. Somewhat hazy orangish amber with a cm of white head. Aroma of sherbety ornage, herbal lemon, some under-ripe tropical fruit. Leanish and cleanish with lots of orange, some herbal notes and a fairly bitter finish. What it says on the tin but is a little brusque at the end to be quaffable yet doesn't pack a big flavour punch.

From a 500ml can on 30/9/2023. Pours a cloudy light golden with a smallish head. The nose is quite tropical and juicy. Tastes tropical and citrussy, with melon and lemon, finishing with a mild bitterness. Lightly creamy mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Decent but unremarkable.

From a 500ml can on 20/9/2023. Pours a cloudy light golden with a medium head and some yeast floaties. Has a lovely punchy fruity nose with lots of tropical and citrus notes. It's rinse and repeat on the sip - strong tangy orange and lemon, pineapple, passionfruit and some rock melon, with white grape kicking in late. Medium sweet with a firm spicy, tangy bitterness at the back. Has a silky mouthfeel with average carbonation. Bold, supremely balanced and very moreish. An absolute cracker.

From a 440ml can on 19/9/2023. Pours a cloudy light golden with a medium head. Has a light tropical nose. Mainly tropical flavour wise, with mango and pineapple, with some tangy stone and citrus fruit notes. Not the sweetest oat cream by a long way, and finishes with a nice tangy bitterness. Has a light creamy mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Really solid.

From a 500ml can on 4/7/2023. Pours a cloudy light golden with a smallish head. Has a strongish spicy, fruity nose. Tastes of orange and mango - medium to high sweetness, with quite a spicy, tangy hop finish, with the barest hint of hop burn. Creamy mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Pretty good, but just a bit too spicy at the back to really impress.

From a 500ml can on 1/7/2023. Pours a cloudy golden with a medium head. The nose is punchy with tropical and citrus notes in equal force. Tastes medium sweet with some passionfruit, pineapple and white grape, with a sharp, slighly spicy finish with just a touch of hop burn presenting. Creamy mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Good but just lacking the cohesion to really impress.

From a 500ml can on 27/6/2023. Pours a deep brown with a smallish tan head that disappears quickly. The nose features a little bit of maple syrup and the barest hint of smoke. Taste is medium to high sweet, with light maple, and the promised blueberries quite prominent. There's a hint of vanilla but I'm a touch disappointed in the lack of discernible smoke. Slick mouthfeel with modest carbonation. This is pleasant enough but was expecting something more defined and intense based on the description.
