Description
We chose the name Odd Breed for our brewery because the yeast and bacteria we use are not the typical microbes used in a brewery for fermentation. In a world of industrialized and mainstream beer, most other brewers would consider our brewery and process to be a bit odd.

We think that being different is a good thing, and in a crowded market where most breweries are emulating whatever they think is popular or trendy, we have purposefully chosen to create our own path, as we strive to produce the types of beers we like most.

MBCC. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and bretty. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate acidic. Dry and moderate acidic finish. 050523

Tap at MBCC 2023 yellow session as Bretta Festbier. Clear pale golden color with no head. Aroma is funky, yoghurt, white wine brettiness. Taste is grassy, mild maltiness, some soapiness, almost watery body. Oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Not sure if this works.

Tap. Clear golden color with white head. Aroma is exotic fruits, white wine, dash of honey. Taste is the same, good honey body, dryish finish, solid funk. Oily mouthfeel, medium carbonation. Interesting combo!

Pours a hazy straw from a bottle, initial big head dissipates quickly. Lemony aroma with tons of funk. Similar flavor, a little sweet but only somewhat. Very tart. Very good beer.
