Gravity cask at Pigs Ear 2023, day 5 - Hackney. Pours clear copper-gold with a frothy, off-white head. Light sweet flavour with notes of lightly toasted mats, a hint of caramel, background citrus. Light bodied with soft carbonation. OK balance to finish, simple, a little bready. Drinkable enough.

[Cask at the Alehouse, Reading.] A bright golden amber pour with a thin white head; leafy hedgerow hop aroma; sweet caramel malt body with a dusty bitterness from traditional English hops; then a biscuity finish. A nice old fashioned bitter.
