Pours a clear coppergold. Scent is rough, raw, sharp, vinous, candy, fresh. Very unique, not recognizable as blueberry to me, but certainly beyond the 'base mead' style aroma. Taste is conflicting, at least in terms of feel. Oily, whilst fairly dry. Stronger alcohol ( quite boozy actuall) . herbal, way less (no ) fruityness here. Bit bitter. Vegetal. Not great at all :/

Pours a very clear and pale lemon. Scent is medium intense on the elderberry, quite herbal and raw. Taste is soft, gentle, semi-sweet honey base. Elderberries are fairly pronounced (i'd say medium) , with a pleasant fruityness combines with an earthy, herbal character. Even though I'm typically not a fan of elderflower or berry, this is quite enjoyable, and provides a better balance than both this meadery's cherry and redcurrent versions.

Pours a very light rosé gold / peachy orange. Scent is quite herbal, sharp, not at all fruity , or not even remotely as gentle as the cherry version. Taste is off-dry, very herbal, medicinal honey ( linden blossom honey?) which I really don't like. The fruits are very hidden.

Pours clear, very very light peachypink to pale lemon. Scent is mostly honey, soft and gentle, medium loud. cherries are very hidden. Taste is sweet, very gentle and soft. medium loud alcohol as well as honey , cherries are hardly recognizable, for a mead that's called after the cherries, I'd expect (way) more cherries ! stil, the mead base is nice. Mild bitterness. Noticably soft and gentle, easy going mead. Woul benefit from a slightly lower ABV perhaps.

Pours a clear , light copper / dark amber. Scent is quite outspoken, applesauce, ice-cider like. heavy on the skins. Taste is medium sweet. Fairly fullbodied. Harsh apple (tannic) , mild acidity. Even though the mead is semi-sweet, this intense applesauce flavor makes me think of (far more sweet) ice cider, and the little dryness this one has, kind of bothers me. I'd prefer a full-blown sweet version of this. However, free from flaws or anything truly serious on the quality level, just a personal preference.

Pours a clear, pale light yellow. Scent is fairly mild. Grassy, herbal tones (not very specificly hoppy) , also not very recognizable honey. Gentle. Taste is smooth, gentle bitterness, mild sweetness. Tad grassy, green hops (not overly fruity or anything). Mild, gentle honey. Very forgeteable, not as specific as I had hoped.

Pours a clear, rather light pale yellow. Scent is mildly sharp, but definately sharper than most other base meads. floral, grassy almost. Taste is gentle, smooth, fairly sweet, floral honey. mild bitterness, very floral finish, with a hint of dryness (the mead itself is medium sweet though ). Decent.
