Description
Hidden Springs Ales Works is a craft brewery in the greater Tampa Heights neighborhood just north of down town Tampa.
We were born from the minds of Joshua Garman and Austin Good (two local guys who loved to brew), and we joined the neighborhood in September of 2015. Yellow Brick Row has become our home away from home, and we hope that it is your’s as well. So, swing by the Tasting Room, find yourself a seat, and enjoy one of our beers. There’s always room for more at the bar.

Keg at Craft Beer Junction. Aroma has sour berries followed by a full 9n cheesecake. Clear ruby read. No head. Sweet. But that cheesecake van8lla. Followed by restrained sour berries. The latter develops. Redcurrant. The sugary sweetness finishes things off. Light-medium bodied. Slick-oily. Medium-fizzy carbonation. Long slightly astringent finish. It is a liquid cheesecake.

Keg at Craft Beer Junction. Aroma is funky with gooseberry and stonefruit. Hazy dull . Foamy white head. Medium bitter. Resin and herbs. Underlying fruit sweetness. Light. Thin. Flat-average carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Nice enough.

Keg at Craft Beer Junction, 13/01/23. Black with a decent tan cap that clears to the edge. Nose is chocolate, dark malts, molasses, toffee fudge, melted brown sugar. Taste comprises chocolate, light spice, mellow bourbon rip, vanilla, brown sugars, toffee, faint coffee. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a layer of warming booze. Solid sipper.

Keg at Craft Beer Junction, 13/01/23. Light pink with a faded crimson cap. Nose is sweet cheesecake base, pink berry sherbets, cherry stones, straw. Taste comprises pink berry fangs, lactic trace, hint of vanilla, more cheesecake biscuit crumbs. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a mellow soured edge. Passable ... usual sweet edged pastry sour affair ... ultimately too sweet and not enough sour ... not one I'd bother with again.

Enjoyed on a cool Monday evening prior to watching playoff football. Rather good one, juicy, lot of hop variety, enjoyable.

Tap at craft beer junction bermondsey. A jet black oily coloured pour with a fine dark cap that fades to the edges. Aroma is super rich dark chocolate cake, death by chocolate, bourbon vanilla oak, vanilla extract.. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, oily dark chocolate cake, bourbon, some fruit pudding, vanilla, woody tannin. Bags of fun. Not too mad.
