Flavor is light sweet, roast malt, chocolate, wet wood, cognac, some alcohol. Medium to full body, soft carbonation, light sweet finish with some light alcohol warmth. 051025

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with minimally late awakening, small, creamy, fading, minimally lacing, beige head. Roasty, chocolately, dark malty aroma with weak BA support, notes of dark chocolate, cocoa, some cognac, minimally oaky overtones. Taste is slightly bitter, roasty, minimally ashy, slightly chocolately, dark malty, minimally woody and alcoholic, notes of dark chocolate, some cocoa, hints of cognac, a touch of oak.
Creamy texture, smooth, soft and silky, minimally cloying palate, fine, dense, soft, creamy carbonation.
Homogeneous, round, soft, a tad simple and monotonous - decent.

Ein Getränk, das schon seit 2021 auf Lager liegt und bei dem ich erst Anfang 2025 s he, dass es Anfang 2023 abgelaufen ist... wobei ich nicht weiß, ob ein solches Biergetränk ablaufen kann.
Es ist ein harter Knochen 🦴, der stark alkoholisch 🥃, ja gar sprittig ⛽ ist.
So findet man neben den steilen Holzliköraromen auch etwas Kirschwasser und Kohle.
Sehr dicht in Körper und Farbe, aber mir persönlich zu stark und intensiv.

0.33 l bottle from 'Het Biermeisje', bottled in April 2021. Pitch black with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, brown head. Intensely sweetish-malty, gently roasty, quite fruity aroma of praline, coffee, cherry, toasted coconut, bourbon and vanilla. Intensely sweet, malty, heavily roasty, gently fruity and slightly boozy taste of dark chocolate, hard roasted coffee, roasted hazelnut, bourbon, vanilla, licorice and some dark fruits, followed by a long, fairly roasty-bitter, a little woody finish. Medium to full body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Heavy, intense brew, unbelievably roasty, great barrel flavours as well. Lovely stuff.

Schwarze Farbe mit beiger Schaumkrone. Alkoholisch malziger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig mit Vanille, Schokolade und Kaffee. Hohe Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, voller Körper mit sanfter Kohlensäure.

Ein Bier, das aufgrund seiner langen Haltbarkeit schon länger im Lager steht. Jetzt wird die wachsverschweißte 🕯️ Flasche geöffnet. Es ist ein intensiv alkoholisches, fassgereiftes Starkbier, das neben holzigen 🪵 Aromen schöne fruchtige Noten nach Sherry und Rotwein 🍷 hat. Sehr komplex und schwer, aber durch die harmonische Aromenintensität doch sehr zu empfehlen.
