375 ml slimline clear bottle, vintage 2023, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken, at an outrageous price. ABV is 9.5%. Clear deep golden to amber colour, no carbonation. Aroma of concentrated apple juice / cider, notes of oak. Very sweet flavour of concentrated apple juice, hints of oak, port wine and port-marinated walnut kernels. Some fruity acidity balances the extreme sweetness. Only the price will keep me from buying this ice cider more frequently.

YG 030324. 2022 vintage. Deep golden color with no head. Aroma is sugar apple, alcohol. Flavor is sugar, apples, ripe apple, apple jam, alcohol, grass, flower, caramel. Very nice.

Bottle, 375ml, 2022 vintage, from trade with Bryne. It pours a crystal clear deep golden colored body, still and headless. The aroma has a rich apple domination, both fresh apple, well ripeneded apple, apple cores and apple jam show up, joined by alcohol, grass and flower hints, some caramel notes and a sugary component. Some lemon juice too actually. Or perhaps it's more like elderflower than lemon and generic flower aromas. It's full-bodied, sweet and lightly warming, with a little acidity. Lots of apple in the flavor, along with some light caramel sauce, generic fruityness, flowers, light brown sugar and lemon juice hints. Sort of woody, foresty too. Lasting apple and apple jam driven finish with notes of alcohol, caramel sauce, alcohol, lemon juice and flowers. A really delicious drink, worked very well with some cheese, but I don't think this ice cider packed as much punch as the very best ones. Really well balanced though. 240302

YG 250124. Pale golden color with some white bubbles. Aroma is apples, alcohol. Flavor is apples, alcohol, apple core, grass, earth, citrus. Nice cider.
