Bottle, 75cl. From trade with Bryne. A clear, sparkling cider, pale golden in color, with a thin layer of short lived white bubbles, steadily supplied from the bottom. The aroma is super-fresh, lots of apple going on, with a hint of alcohol and apple storage. Apple peal, a light grassy hint, some pear-like notes and a faint earthy hint. It's quite tart on the palate, with a light tongue-stinging acidity. Well carbonated, very lightly warming, quite dry yet with fruity sweetness. There's some sulphur notes in the flavor, should be possible to reduce that for the next batch, but it's apple flavors that run the show. Some earthy, cellary hints in the back. Almost lemony in the back of the finish, still with apple flavors in the driver's seat. A delicious cider indeed, especially the aroma is top notch. 240124

750 ml clear bottle, vintage 2022, from Vinmonopolet Norheimsund. ABV is 6.0%. Clear and very pale golden colour, pours vigorously sparkling with a large but shortlived white head. Fresh aroma of Discovery apples, a hint of sulphites. Semi-dry (or semi-sweet, if you like) flavour of eating apples, again a hint of sulphites.

Bottle, 75cl. A clear, sparkling, golden colored cider with some bubbles on top. Apple juice, apple peel, some apple cores and grass, hints of flowers and a light hoppy touch in the aroma. It's full bodied and quite dry on the palate. Some alcohol warmth. Apple juice, apple cores, flowers, grass notes, citrusy and piney, with hints of lemon and orange. Quite flowery finish, with apple dominating. Some hoppy flavors too, but they don't last as long as the apple flavor. Nice, but I think it should be sweeter to balance the hoppy flavors. Not bitter in any way though. 221218
