Cask at Four Thieves. It pours clear amber with minimal head. The aroma is sweet, juicy, fresh pineapple, candy and stone fruit. The taste is smooth, toasted grain, cereal, pineapple, candied fruits, tinned fruits and light spice with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. I wish it was more fresh and bright. Overall its fair.

Cask at the Brew pub. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The aroma is sweet, juicy, grapefruit, lemon zest, lemon parfait and toasted grain. The taste is dry, bitter, toasted grain, lemon, grapefruit, grassy and cereal with a dry finish. Medium body and low carbonation. Could be done with more condition. Not bad.

Cask at the four thieves, cj. A cleat golden yellow coloured pour with a fine off white head. Aroma is floral soapy, poperie, Yankee candle sandleqood, spices. Flavour is composed of soapy lavender, kafir lime, light grains, subdued saison yeast. Palate is dull and grainsy, moderate to low carbonation. Too heavy handed with the spices. Bit too soapy.

Cask at the four thieves, cj. A reddy amber brown coloured pour with a lasting stodgy off white head. Aroma is big piney hop, brown bread, lemon. Some lace. Flavour is composed of nutty brown bread, little piney, toasted pine, lemon hop. Possible closer to a black IPA. Palate is moderate carbonation, tangy hop resin, little woody. Good.

Cask at the four thieves, cj. Mahogany brown coloured pour with a greyish cream head. Aroma is bitter black malts, liquorice, coffee, rough. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, black malts, bitter liquorice kamp coffee. Little vanilla. Palate is semi sweet, low carbonation, watery. Little thin apple note in the finish.

Getting a lot of ginger. Kinda compliments the lavender but it's quite harsh and astringent for me. Soz Nic. Too much for me.
