Troebel goudgeel bier met veel stevig schuim wat ook lang blijft staan. Smaak is licht bitter hoppig met op de achtergrond de typische saison smaak, wat citrus en honing. Heel goed.

330ml bottle. Clear, redd-ish, dark amber colour with average to huge, frothy, rapidly diminishing, minimally lacing, off-white head. Mellow malty and sweet-ish, fruity aroma, minimally earthy hints of blackcurrant, a touch of green apple. Taste is mellow malty and sweet-ish fruity, notes of blackcurrant, some green apple, a minimally sugary touch, weak fruit acidic counterpart.
Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, medium to coarse, foamy, prickly carbonation.
Rather sweet but still passably drinkable, a tad monotonous, could be better off with more tart-ish and earthy aspects from the blackcurrant -
could have been worse and way more artificial. OK.

On tap at GIST. Pours mostly clear light gold with a white head. Grassy hops and a bit of floral Belgian yeast. Flavour has caramel malts, grassy hops, and some Belgian yeast. Very light carbonation. I would not have guessed that this is a tripel.

On tap at GIST, pours a clear copper with a medium white head. Aroma has piney hops, some earthiness, and light metallic notes. Flavour is fairly smooth, with Belgian yeast, bready malt, and a touch of sweetness. Would never have guessed this was a tripel if I didn’t know. Okay.
