Dark brown, medium head. Medium thickness. Modest bitterness, some of that coming from dark malts. Light vanilla sorta graham cracker sweetness. Decent balance on this one.

Bright pale amber, thin head. Gentle biscuity malts and modest bitterness. Clean. Mellow citrus, not actually much hop expression but the malt base is solid...honey on biscuits. Nice lacing.

Blonde, opaque, thin head. Clean orangey hop nose. Medium bitterness, nice citrusy hop profile, sweet balancing malts. Nicely done.

Medium amber, thin head. Bright. Sweet amber malts, touch of biscuit and maybe white sugar. Medium bitterness and vaguely citrusy, piney hop character.

Dark brown. Thin head. The aroma is malty with some dark sugars, subtle fruitiness, touch of caramel. On the palate, similar. Has some dark sugars and gentle fruitiness. Medium body but with a cask-esque acidity in the finish. But that also means that more malt complexity or hop bitterness would help...you don't want tartness to be the signature character here.

Poured from 473mL can (abv hand written as 3.8%). Slightly hazed copper with small beige head. Quite a bland malt, slightly burnt almost, lacking in body, meh.

473mL can, pours a clear amber with a small off-white head. Nose brings out bready malt, straw, and toasted grain. Flavour is burnt and bitter without much malt body; there's some bready malt, straw, toasted grain, but an undesirable bitterness to this that needs to be fixed. Pretty lame.

Quite pale, just a thin head. Phenols up front. Fruity - pear and white grape - hops to it but yeah the phenols are pushing the envelope on sticky plastic bubblegum.

Pale amber. Just a thin head. Chill haze. Fruity hop aroma, on the palate this is juicy, stone fruit, simple malt base just a touch biscuity. Good.

Opaque pale yellow. Not much head. Pear on the nose. Also on the palate, lots of candy pear sweetness, but there’s also a touch of cardamom. Ok, could stand to be a bit drier.
