Porter iz pivovare Labona je tamno kestenjasto pivo s primamljivom smeđom pjenom koje odmah privuče pogled u čaši i obećava slojevit doživljaj okusa. U mirisu i okusu prevladavaju note tamne karamele, likoricije i dozrelih crvenih jabuka, a zbog korištenja specijalnih prženih tipova slada dobiva se bogato, srednje tijelo s ugodnom, srednje jakom gorčinom.

Labona Blond Ale je zlatno, pitko craft pivo iz Labina u Istri, koje mirisom i okusom nježno balansira između lagane sladnoće i umjerene gorčine, bez ikakvog „hop head“ preseravanja. To je pivo koje ne viče nego šarmira — idealno za jedno, drugo i „ajde još jedno kad je već otvoreno“.

Bottle picked up from Plodine supermarket Orebic, Pelješac peninsula Croatia and consumed at Camp Sunset 5km north of Primošten, Saturday 6th September 2025. Pours orangey with a large white head, lively pour, actually a very lively pour, good mouthfeel, soft but buzzy. Nice bitterness, there's a bretty edge, Loz picked up on this initially and yea she's bang on and wow does that elevate this to something different as aI guess that it wasn't intended. Other than that a little citrus and herbal notes.

Bottle picked up from Plodine supermarket Orebic, Pelješac peninsula, Croatia. Had this Thursday 4th September 2025 sat outside Frank at Camp Riviera Makarska. Pours hazy gold, very lively, overflowing a little on the pour, light yeasty nose, also some maltiness on the nose, there is a grainyness also it's a little sweetish. Not a bad beer by any stretch but overall fails to create much interest for me.

0.33l bottle from Beer Shop Pomalo. Aroma is leathery, funky, yeasty and grainy with smelly horse shit note. Pours cloudy amber color with large frothy off-white head, yeast residue and flat visible carbonation. Taste starts light sweet grainy with funky and leathery following and grassy bitter finish. Bottle, 0.33l. Hazy deep amber/copper pour, huge frothy off-white head, long lasting. Sticky lacing on the glass. Herbal nose, malt, bready notes. Citrus peel in the background. Medium body, lively carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, soft, chewy, fizzy. Goes down nicely. Balanced bittersweet taste with bitterness slowly building in the background. Aroma of malt, lightly toasted, bread. Citrus peel, herbal and grassy notes, pine, spice. Grainy, dusty. Medium lasting finish, dry, lingering bitterness. Solid.

Bottle, 0.33l. Murky, muddy brown pour, two finger soapy beige head, medium retention. Broken lacing on the glass. Somewhat sweet on the nose, cocoa, chocolate, some fruity notes. Light body, medium carbonation, lively. Average mouthfeel and texture, somewhat watery. Roasty bittersweet taste. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, coffee. Dried fruits, nuts Some off-placed metal bitterness, a bit harsh. Yeasty. Short to medium lasting finish, dry, lingering rusty bitterness. A bit all over the place. Unbalanced.
