Virginia cider tasting with Shig's buddies. Not quite clear, protein haze or just a little shaken. Lovely honey gold, forced bubbles on the pour. Yeasties, doughy, veggie, light acid nose. Tart, fruity, leathery, thin, middling tannic, onion earthy, slight vinegar note detracts, lingering acid on the finish. Okay+.

Bottle: Poured a coppery orange with a bubble head. Aroma is musty, apple, earthy. Taste is apple, tannin, leather, dry finish.

Panda at home, thanks to Fergus, 25/06/22. Golden coloured with a white cap that veers edgewards. Nose is crisp apple, earthy, hedgerow, sugars. Taste comprises bitter sweet apple, tannins, apple core, light herb. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok cider ... a little stuck in 3rd gear for me.

Panda courtesy of mR, fr0g, cheers Fergus! Golden colour, white foam head that dissipate away and aroma of apple, vanilla. Taste is sweet, ripe apple, pulpy, some tart citric notes and mellow bittersweet, light tannin. Medium bodied, light carbonation, medium-dry finish. Quite drinkable.

Bottle at home picked up from the the Apple barn near lizard point. A light hazed golden coloured pour no head, some yeasty bits. Aroma is semi sweet, tart apple, apple curd, hint of vanilla, some alcohol. Flavour is composed of dry pithy apple,. twist of lemon, quince, lime, Palate is light tart, semi drying finish, a very gentle fizz.
