# 4157; 4/2024. Caramel, herbal, dried fruits, citrus aroma. Brilliant deep amber body; beige head. Caramel, herbal, dried apricot, zesty. Very good bohemian semi-dark lager. 0,5 l, bottle, supermarket, Pilsen (Bohemia, CZ).

Bottle picked from Kaufland, Prachatice, Czechia and consumed at home, Monday 26th February 2024, cooking Shepherd's Pie actually Cottage Pie. Pours warm gold, excellent clarity and with a large white head, taste is ok, but that usual non alcoholic beer taint is there, though I don't dislike this as much as I used to. Refreshing, nice carbonation in the mouth, a little bitterness, fine.

Bottle at the flat in Sofia - picked up from Da Hapna. Label only says “Patriot 11 Svetly Lezak” and ABV is 4.5%. Pours well clear honey-gold with a modest, foamy white head. Light sweet flavour with notes of crispy, sun-kissed cereal, bread, biscuits, mild bitter hay and grass. Light bodied with average carbonation. Pretty clean on the finish, more biscuity pale malts, a touch of salty sourdough, grass. Tasty.

Can 50 cl. Golden, clear, good white foam. Aroma: sweet, wort, slight sourness, malt, spicy-herbaceous Czech hops. Sweetish taste, malt wort, sourness, decent bitterness at the finish, not bad.

50 cl can. Golden, clear, almost white foam. Aroma: malt, slightly spicy, floral-herbaceous hops. Taste: malty, good malt body, candies, strong hop bitterness, not bad.

Barva zlatava, takrka cira. Pena nizka a hned pryc. Vune psenicna, kvasnicova, pripalena. Chut sladova, psenicna. Dojezd stredne sladky az suchy. Takovy citronovy bonbonek, trochu ulpiva. Kvasnice, obcas hint te pripalenosti. Telo lehci az vodove. Neni to uplne spatna psenice, ale taky ne uplne dobra.

Bottle at the flat in Sofia - picked up fronDa Hapna. Pours clear copper with a small, foamy off-white head. Lightly sweet with bready malts, some leaves, a bit of yeast, toasted grains, orange rind. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Matt finish, toasted bread, light leafy-earthy bitterness. Basic, drinkable.

Bottled. Golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is floral, some wooden, mild spruce and some herbal notes. Flavour is fruity, floral, some toffee and mild hoppy and earthy notes.
