Dark brown with thin beige head. Roast grain taste, with elements of coffee and cola. Aroma hints at the coffee bitterness, taste at some cola sweetness. Smoother and slightly sweeter then some of the dark lagers.

bottle from Farmarsky Obchod Praha. Clear amber colour, large white head. Malty base with hints of roasted malts and caramel, some forest honey and nut, grassy-resiny hops that leave a dry finish. I liked it even more with a touch of yeast (the unfiltered version), that added some fruitiness to it.

Lahev: Deep golden, a bit unclear, visible carbonation, small to mid-sized stable white foam, sweetish-malty nose with a toasty-fruity touch; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied; slightly increasing hoppy bitterness in the bitter-sweet finish. Pěkné pivo...

(Draught at Merenda, Prague, 28 July 2012) Golden yellow colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with notes of bread, toffee, hay and grass. Malty taste with bread, toffee, hay, grass, vanilla, and mild grassy bitterness. Medium body, with a certain malt sweetness. Decent, but hardly exciting.
