Bottle @ Germany. Pours unclear amber with a small creamy off white head. Chewy caramel and toffee. Some vague butter notes. Sweet. Bready. Very smooth and lots of chewy malts. Quite good despite the sweetness.

Bottled 500ml. -from Albert Chodov. Golden coloured, small airy white head, corny grainy nose. Touch of corn and grain with strong bitterness. Quite bad and very expensive n/a.

Bottle. A clear, golden beer, topped by a decent white head. Lacings too. Hay, grass and malts on the nose, sweetness indicated. Good herbal hops with some resin. Full-bodied and smooth, with a bit much sweetness. Good bitterness, but a little too less to deal with the sweetness. Still, a nice beer indeed. Maybe not as quenching as I would like it, but pleasant indeed. Sweet finish with straw and fruity sweetness, and a bitterness to back it up. A pleasant beer for sure. 100529

Bottled (BB 02/2010)
Golden color, small white head. A bit grainy, butterscothy aroma. Harsh, alcoholic, sweetish, grassy hoppyness with some butterscotchy notes. Too alcoholic for being enjoyable. Otherwise typical 14 plato Czech.

0.5l bottle courtesy of ogivlado who brought it from Czech Republic and shared with me (thanks!) Poured a fine golden colour with a crappy white head pierced with holes that made it look like swiss cheese. Tiny too but somewhat lasting. Soggy cornflakes in the nose, sweet obviously, some unimpressive lemon too. Bitter taste surrounded by salt piercing through some sweet unfermented wort style notes, leaving a bitter aftertaste. Not all that bad for a n/a in the end, but man, this is apparently twice as expensive as the other n/a’s in ČR, and brags on being hopped by three different types of hops, including Cascades(!). Ok, so it’s more bitter and more nicely so than the average n/a but that much better? No.

Bottle, 5.0%. Slow gusher. Almost clear golden colour. Fizzy white head. The flavour starts off with a rough bitterness. Has some bread and a little butter, not exactly good. Drinkable, though.
