Bottled at Hildegards, Karlshamn. Deep celar golden, fair sized firm head. Domintaed by grassy saaz hops. Solid and sweet but clean malt builds a firm foundation for the grassy oily hops to feast on. Lingering bitterness that lasts forever makes me want another one. Good strong Czechish pils!

Draught at Steakhouse Bryggeriet, Ystad, Sweden. Clear deep golden, airy head. Appley nose. Sweet with clean, hard mouthfeel. At first cellary apples hides the hay-like hops. When it warms it first reveals soap and minerals, and eventually also a wealth of oily, bitter Saaz hops. Still feels a bit rough and unpolished.

Bottled "Baron Ladislav III Lobkowicz" (BB 12/2007)
Dark ruby red color, big brown head. Chocolaty, grassy and cardboardish nose. Dry, harsh malty, light burned notes, subdued toffee flavors. Light and not very interesting - lacks hop presence.

Bottle: Deep golden coloured, big lacing white head; herbal hops, honey, sweet-malt and a tinge of cardboard in the nose; moderate bitter-sweet taste, light to medium-bodied; a touch of alcohol in the dryish herbal-bitter finish. Not a well balanced Pilsener..........

Bottle: Deep golden coloured, mid-sized and pretty stable white head; typical "bohemian" nose: distinctive sweet-malt, rounded by spicy herbal hops; robust sweet-bitter flavour over a light malty base, rather light bodied; mild but spicy herbal finish. A good example of that style, astonishingly not available in Bohemia.....

(bottle, German label: Fürst Original Böhmisches Bier, 4.8%, bought at a Norma supermarket for 35 €urocents) Clear, golden colour with a lacey foamy, slightly yellow head. Sweet malty, slightly sugary and buttery aroma with a subtle apple-fruitiness and shy traces of hops. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a lively carbonation. Grainy, slightly bready taste, a bit fizzy on the palate; moderately dry, malt-accented, slightly bitter, shy hoppy finish. Rather bland.

(bottle from Germany, 4.7% ABV, as Lobkow. Baron Urböhmisches Schwarzbier) Clear, dark brown colour with a reddish shine and a medium-sized, light-beige foamy head. Sweet and a bit sugary dark malty aroma with cacao and caramel. Bitter and slightly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Dark malty, slightly roasted taste with caramel and pretty strong notes of liquorice, lingering into the moderately bitter finish, accompanied with notes of chocolate and a whiff of herbal hops. Nice session beer.

Bottled(500ml). -Cloudy orange coloured, medium sized airy white head, perfumey nose. Very smooth. The aroma is malty, nice hoppy and fruity (lemon and apple). Mild hoppy aftertaste. Nice and pleasant taste which is slightly worse than Vevoda.
