Bottle from the brewery. Smooth malty grainy beginning, The beer is round but not too soft, malty and somehow floral - but not too intense or deep. The great intensity of cascade-hops is missing nearly completely. Very sad. The beer in total is well-made, but way too boring for what it wants to be. Just and ordinary Zwickel with hints of more freshness. This brewery could have done something like this much better.

Thank you! 1000 ml. green swing-top sampled @ The Rad Roadburn Bottleshare at De Bierbrigandier. Golden, orange, little head. Nose is interesting mineral, clean dough, basic. Taste is nice bright white bread dough, oily faint mineral, little hop or Amarillo but nice white bread, low vegetable hop, interesting mineral, solid white bread, very clean, solid body. Not very Amarillo forward but taste clean, interesting low mineral white bread brew.

Draught at Grunewoche. Gold with a medium white head. Aroma of malt. Flavour is hoppy malt, tangy bitter, lemon on a long dry bitter.

Draught at Grunewoche. Brownish black with a large head. Aroma of chocolate malt. Flavour is light metallic malt, nut and chocolate malt. Decent dunkel.

Pours gold from the bottle. Frothy white head that slowly fades. Aroma is dough-like with hints of caramel and floral notes. Taste is uneventfully mildly sweet, full of dough, finishing with a mild, dry bitterness that is a touch warming and lingers. Body is medium, clingy, carbonation is mild. A bit of an odd one but I drank it easily enough.

Bottle, 0.33l. Aroma is grainy, floral, honeyish and grassy. Pours clear pale golden color with large soapy white head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts with moderate sweet bready malt, following is herbal and floral, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is mild bitter. Medium body, creamy texture and soft carbonation in palate. Kalea Advent calender. Day 7 beer on day 10. Standard sour yeasty lager aroma with some floral hints. Dark gold. Frothy white head soon fades. Light bitter before a sweetness come through. Can't quite place sweetness but it's a tad odd. Honey mixed with odd chemical. Still hoppy though. Thin. Light bodied but does have sme slickness to it. Fizzy carbonation. Abrupt finish. Does nothing for me. Unusual tasting lager.

Pours clear golden, topped with medium sized white frothy head. Grainy malty nose with some wet cardboard presence, a bit smelly. Sweeter start, not too much though, milder bitterness and metallic finish. A bit stale feel with short aftertaste. Not unpleasant, just nothing special.

Sample courtesy of Erzengel, big thanks. copper lightly hazy color, small off-white head. smells pines, lightly citric, spices, peppery, light honey, oak. nice smell. full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of pines, spices, peppery, bit earthy, bit doughy, hints of citrus, lightly grassy. finishes dry and lightly bitter with notes of pines, dough and some spices. very nice bock, quite good to drink, ABV well hidden. good stuff.
