Bottle with expiry date 2.02.2017. Dark amber colour, head smaller than usual for hefeweizen. Aroma is initially quite intensive burned wood, but soon it starts to taste like a Belgian sour - you can even feel some sauerkraut. Bananas are hardly noticeable, even smoked character is dominated by the sourness. Medium sour, light bitterness, not sweet. Light body, lively carbonation. Complete failure. Previous rating from 9th March 2016: 6/3/5/3/17=3.4 Bottle. Brown colour, cloudy, rocky head, not so big for a wheat beer. Aroma is quite much banana, smoked like smoked wood or ham. Not too aggressive, just ok. Very good.

Keg at PiwPaw, Warsaw. Hazy golden, small head. Hay, tea and notes of orange peels up front. Mid dry with light-medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Bready with some hay. Mid bitter finish. Czechish indeed.

500ml bottle. Cloudy, deep golden colour with small to average, frothy to macropore, diminishing, white head. Smoky, minimally tartish aroma, hints of ham, bacon, smoked eel, smoked trout. wheaty basis with a touch of apple and pear, sauerkraut trimmings. Taste is mildly tart, smoky, slightly wheaty, subtle sweetness, hints of pear and apple, a mild touch of sauerkraut, smoky notes seem to be more fishy (eel, trout) than fleshy (ham, bacon). Mild and mellow, very drinkable for its dodgy composition; probably benefits from the Polish Grodziskie experience.
