Thank you for sharing tderoeck & Rubin77. Sampled bottled @ LIBF 2017. Bright red amber. Nose is oxidized, overly poor BE esters, dull leaves. This oxidized, caramel, fruit is lost, thin leaves, odd oxidation,… Thin. Weak.

Thank you for sharing tderoeck & Rubin77. Sampled bottled @ LIBF 2017. Orange, golden, creamy white. Nose is way too yeast, soap, sugar, dirty, grape is lost. Wattery, weak. Soap, weak, too watery, spoiled yeast,… Just poor, weak, soap, bit dirty, not a fan.

Italian amber ale with orange, sample from a 75 cl bottle at LIBF. Thick, yellowish cream white, moussy, frothy, papery lacing, stable head, more or less clear copper-tinged amber robe. Aroma of bitter orange peel and a hint of marmalade, peanuts, butterscotch, damp straw, red apples, white pepper, water melon, sweet white grapes. Sweetish onset, apple, pineapple and noticeable orange zest spritziness, medium carb, smooth and oily mouthfeel, sourish edges; nutty, caramelly malt middle, rounded with a mild toasty bitterishness accentuated by an orange peel aspect. Finishes clean, dryish and softly bittering. Well done for what it intends to be, too bad I didn’t taste the blonde lemon version too.

Clear orange beer, creamy white head, little stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: bit malty, hay, metallic, lots of banana, yeast, oranges. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty sweet and fruity, lots of oranges, orange peel, some soft bitterness. Aftertaste: bit malty, grains, orange peel, fruity, some citrus, white grape juice, bit sugary.

Taste: very fruity start, oranges, some banana, white grapes, pretty sweet. Aftertaste: malty, banana, some yeast, little bitter, citrus touch, some grapefruit.

Taste: malty, grassy bitterness, bit metallic, some caramel. Aftertaste: banana touch, very malty, metallic again, grains, hay. Not my cup of beer...
