Bottle share at CBJ. Thanks to Tips. Almost opaque dark brown beer, small bubbly tan head. Airy smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Nice dark malts, dark chocolate Malteasers. Some esters! Good fruity spicy whiskey on the back end. Nice. Fruity and well rounded.

6th Floor bottleshare with the usual suspects. Thanks to Tips. Opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Smooth palate, modest fine carbonation. Smooth dark chocolate, quite a milky sweetness. Nice nuts! Smooth and flavoursome but the milky sweetness is a distraction.

Bottle split at the 2nd CBJ tasting, thanks to Tips, 31/08/23. Black with a tan cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is coffee bean, dark malts, spice, vinous, stewed fruits, a touch harsh. Taste comprises coffee, sugars, a little on the raw side, dried fruit rinds, bourbon. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a kiss of alcohol. Passable offering ... a touch raw and disjointed.
