Pours unclear, darker blonde/amber. Scent is very intense, tannix-like woody bite, mellow lambic funk underneath. Taste is quite outspoken, yet mellow and soft. Woodyness is bit tannic, but also has some vanilla (sort off), herbal/spicy notes, complex to describe, but very aromatic. Lambic isn't lost, but does take the backseat, as the wood has been given a lot of room to shine. Very dry. Quite nice !

Pours a clear blonde with large white head, that fades fast. Scent is powerfull OB style lambic, which i always enjoy. Grapes are present but not as intense as expected. Very herbal, young and seemingly cold climate style white grapes. I dont recognize the specific types, but than again i'm not ver knowingly about these, only knowing furmint from tokaji, so i doubt i would ever recognize them with my current (low level) of expertise. Taste is full, very drying lambic. Got the typical OB qualities, but is fzr more astrigent. Grape character remains as in the nose, young, herbal and cold climate style. Less outspokenly OB in the mouth, i get way less of that 'green apple' i did get in the aroma. High carbonation. Has a certain herbal-spice quality to it. Very decent beer, sure, but after having had the cider/lambic version recently, this is a far less breathtaking version to me. Obviously a very high carbo, which is to be expected in the concept, but pushed the dryness even more, making it a bit harsh for me. Honestly, my lowest expectations - almost didnt buy - were the cider lambic version, which was amazing. This one was second lowest, and whilst not being a let down, it doesnt surpass the expectations the same way the ciderlambic did.
