Orange with a full solid head. Aroma of grainy lager. Flavour has a kick of spiced fruit, citrus orange on a fairly strong bitter base.

Optisch tiefgoldgelb und opaltrüb. Die weiße, feinporige Schaumkrone hält ziemlich gut. Fruchtig-hefiger, bananiger Duft, der eher bayerisch als belgisch wirkt. Dennoch sehr angenehm. Der Antrunk kommt kräftig aromatisch, süßlich, leicht honigartig und leicht alkoholisch. Der Körper weist eine sehr gute Fülle mit feiner Karbonisierung, samtig-cremiger Textur und leicht wärmender Alkoholnote auf. Auf Zunge und Gaumen breiten sich reife Steinobstnoten und ein schöner Hefecharakter aus. Dazu eine leicht trockene Herbe. Das Gesamtpaket wirkt stiltypisch und passend schwer und voll. Trotz der Mächtigkeit lässt sich dieses Tripel gut trinken. Der langlebige und angenehm aromatische Nachtrunk wird von einer leichten Wärme und einem zarttrockenen Finish abgerundet.

Deep golden to amber topped with a lasting off white head.
Nose is caramel, earthy hops, biscuit, blood orange, straw.
Taste comprises grapefruit, bitter orange, pine needle, bready notes, caramel.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close punctured with earthy hop bitterness.
Not bad ... old skool leaning red IPA.
