Description
Brewing commenced at the rear of the Fox & Crown, Nottingham in 1999, taking over the premises from Fiddler's Ales. Alcazar stopped brewing in 2016. The brewery and name were taken over by the Shipstone’s Beer Company.

Bottle. Vintage BB2006. Still Ok though! Frothy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Moderate malty and hoppy powerfull brett notes! Not intentional I think but fun and nice. Heavy bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

Cask (gravity) @ GBBF 2010, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England. [ As Alcazar Brush Bitter ]. Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, light roasted, light to moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration, licorice notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100806]
