Description
At the gateway to the Sequoia National Forest, Kern River Brewery is Kernville's only brewpub. This makes KRBC much more than just a restaurant; it's an attraction in itself.

The Kern River Brewing Company is a privately owned “S” Corporation and is managed by a three-member board of directors. The business of the company is the production of fresh high-quality beer and food in a fun, comfortable environment. Kyle Smith, Eric Giddens and Rebecca Giddens make up the perfect combination to do just that.

Draft at the brewpub. Nose is grainy wheat and yeastiness; no fruit esters I could detect. Murky white gold with a medium glass lacing white head. Flavor was light pepperiness and grainy yeast. My daughter loved this and took home a growler. Not estery enough for me.

22oz bottle–pours a foamy light tan head that laces and hazy amber color. Aroma is citrus-grapefruit/lemon, peach, some sweet light malt. Taste is citrus-grapefruit/lemon with some bitter, some herbal/mineral, peach, back bone of light/medium malt-caramel. OK effervescence. Some English character. Enjoyable. Thanks to Joe-jwc215 for sharing.
