From Good Times Oakland, canned April 20th 2026.

Pours a clear pale gold, finger of foam, retention and lacing are fine.

Smell is pine, citrus, tropical fruity, some mild dankness.

The taste is hoppy, dry hopped it is, big notes of pine, grapefruit citrus, tropical fruit and mild dankness.

Medium bodied, this is very good and I would certainly drink this again.

Bomber @ Benzai's Anti-Carnival Valentine's Day Tasting, Feb 26. Pours dark, tan head. Doesn't mess about this. Very satisfying balanced flavours.. not too full on, excellent restraint.. great subtlety of flavours with emerging hints of chocolate and even distant dark toffee... Very nice indeed.

Tulip at SJ food market.

Opaque, dark brown on black. Sticky oatmeal lace.
Sharp roast & bold citrus rind on the nose.
Roasted astringency, bittersweet leaning West Coast bitter. Burnt sugar; bittersweet. Maybe a little herbal from the c-hops too.

Simple & really tasty.

This beer pours a clear pale golden color with a medium white head that dissipates steadily to a film. Short strings of lace. Aroma of floral hops, citrus and malt. Medium body with floral hop, tangerine, grapefruit and biscuit malt flavors. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

This brew pours a clear orange-gold color with a medium foamy white head that recedes gradually to a film. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of herbal hops, tropical fruit and malt. Medium body with an herbal hop character and flavors of tropical fruit, berry and bready malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a lingering fruity hop aftertaste. Another good IIPA from Kern overall.
