About
The brewery Stradaregina was born from the passion for the craft beer of the two partners Sabatini Alessio and Andrea Branchini.
The careful research and selection of ingredients, the particular attention devoted to the production process and the continuous evolution of the recipes make the beer Stradaregina pleasant and very nice to drink.
All beers are top-fermented and are naturally refermented in bottles and casks.
Some of the beers are aged in oak barrels that give features and unique flavor to the finished product.

To date, the brewery is divided into two distinct branches, one dedicated to the various top-fermented brewers styles and one for the production of Lambic-style beers.
All of our sour spontaneously fermented are the result of a minimum blend two beer vintages aged in barrels for one to three years, with some of the blend proposed is then added fresh fruit, others flowers, others are a mixture of three different vintages without further additions. A subsequent long aging in barrels and in bottle completes the maturation of our products.

Sample draught @ SWAFFF! 2019 Brussels Craft Beer Festival (1st day) shared with BE RB crew and other gentle people there. F: medium, white, good retention. C: shiny gold, hazy, opaque. A: orange, tangerine, peach, grapefruits. T: orange, tangerine, grapefruits, mellow tropical fruits, prominent long lasting bitterness as I expected, ok, enjoyed.

Draft sample @ Swafff '19. Dorée, col blanc. Arôme sur de belles notes houblonnées - poudre fine d'oignon, pas mal d'agrumes - rétro léger malté. Palais est agréablement bien houblonné, fleuri et finement herbacé, effervescence fine, petite touche poudre oignon. Malté reste assez plaisant et apporte une bonne balance.

Draft sample @ Swafff '19. Pâle clair, pas de col. Arôme de funk, pas mal de notes acides / acétique, léger effet barrique, léger rétro malté - je note rien en terme d'abricot tellement l'acidité est dominante. Palais est axé sur une grosse claque aigrelette, petite touche de grains ajoute une petite note douce de fin de bouche avec un côté fin pâtissier, effet de veille pomme verte avec un grains qui revient en retrait mais où la dominance reste toujours sur l'aigreur. L'abricot n'est pas vraiment noté et l'aigreur est bcp trop marqué - en l'état, ça n'a rien d'un lambic - à la limite peut être pour Hanssens.

I Draught /I Small off-white rim, veiled yellow-golden beer. Indifferent sourish, not unlike rhubarb + pineapple. Sourish, again rhubarb and unripe pineapple. Lemon or lime, certainly lots of lactic and even acetic acid. Enamel-etching sourness, lactic acidbomb, dry-out effect, acidthinning & -burn. Phew. Would work excellent for a vinaigrette.

Clear deep ruby pink beer, small creamy light pink head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: fruity, acidic impression, very intense, raspberries, nice stuff. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of cherries, very acidic, lemon juice, fruity notes. Aftertaste: bit of yoghurt, lactobacillus, raspberries, cherries, some cherry flavoured candy.

Clear blond to orange beer, big dense white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: malty, bit herbal, soapy touch. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bitter start, pretty fruity, some grapefruit, citrus, malty, bit floral. Aftertaste: nice bitterness, furity, hoppy, bit resinous, very decent beer!

Clear orange beer, small creamy white head, stable, non adhesive. Aroma: very funky, acidic impression, lots of vinegar. MF: lively carbon, medium to light body. Taste: lots of vinegar, very acidic, some tannins, fruity. Aftertaste: green apples, acidic, fruity, very sour, vinegar.
