Pours a dark, cola-brown-black, with smallish head. Aroma is a blend of spices: nutmeg, allspice, pepper, cinnamon, etc. Flavor follows and is more pronounced. Quite tasty. Clean, crisp mouthfeel.

16 oz can purchased at The Wine Thief & Ale Jail in Crystal, Minnesota. The pour is a crystal-clear, pale golden with a one inch foamy white head that dissipates fairly quickly. The aroma has notes of straw, grass, softly herbal, and subtle lemon citrus hop. The taste features crisp, bright straw malt, quickly followed by classic Pilsner hop notes of herbal and grass, with a hint of lemon citrus in the crisp finish. The palate is light-bodied with active carbonation, herbal and mineral notes, and a crisp, dry finish. This is an easy-drinking, nice Pilsner.

16oz can c/o Ryan. A pretty solid beer. Pretzely malt, steady hop balance. Hop balance is a more in line with a real German example than most US iterations. Has a nice body for the moderate ABV. Super sessionable, with some character and depth. Good.

Sampled from the tap at ABR 2025. Pours a hazy yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is grassy with sweet corn and a bit of bread backing. Flavor has corn and bread notes with a bit of grass coming through.

16oz can c/o Ryan. Clean,.crisp, pretty solid for the style. Very sessionable, with definite rice character. I'm not wild about the aroma, but it has a nice crisp balance, and good flavor.

10 oz draft at Arbeiter Brewing in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The pour is a clear yellow golden with a small foamy white head. The aroma is perfume floral sweetness, along with a nice gentle hoppiness. The taste is the perfume floral sweet, almost jasmine, then picks up some cereal malt character. Nice balance and blend. The palate is light bodied with soft natural carbonation and the floral grain finish. Fun one, don't get to try this style often.

10 oz draft at Arbeiter Brewing in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The pour is a clear yellow golden with a small foamy white head. The aroma is grain malt, soft corn, floral, hay all quite fresh. The taste is crisp cereal grain malt with the Kolsch yeast and finishes with grass floral. The palate is light to medium bodied with active carbonation and a mineral bone dry finish. Easy drinking, nice one.
