Nice enough stout, the bodied is thin but that’s to be expected from the ABV. A nice fudge character which I always like with some roast and chocolate.

Draft at Taproom KL. Poured a slightly hazy golden colour with a short-lived, frothy white head. The aroma is malt, yeasty, light grapefruit. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a crisp, malty, herbal, earthy, light citrus, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

An ESB brewed in Malaysia. These are truly strange days in which we’re living. It’s solid, malty upfront, caramel. Nice texture and body. Decent!

New rating on 7th October 2023 at Hops and Malt. Poured a slightly hazy medium amber colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt and citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate bitter and sweet with a smooth, malt, fresh, juicy lemon citrus, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. A big improvement over the earlier version. Original Rating: Draft at Taproom KL. Poured a slightly hazy golden colour with a short-lived frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, floral hops. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a fresh, crisp, grainy, juicy lemon citrus, light floral, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Ideal for the local climate.

My first actual Malaysian craft beer so let’s give it a rate! It’s a little hazy, floral, fresh and fruity. Citrus, grapefruit. Light sweet and moderate bitter. Good job!
