Description
Moon Lark is a craft brewery, meadery, and seltzery. Three alcoholic beverages founded by two friends under one brand. What put us together is the will to write our own history and passion for uncommon flavors. Our base of operations is located in Poland in the town of Poreba, neighboring Zawiercie city – where one night we heard a lark warbling to the moon – that is the beginning of our story. Brewing was our passion for several years now and we are ready to share it with you. One of the co-owners and head brewer of Moon Lark is Pawel Maslowski. We aim to treat you with IPAs overfilled with aromatic hops, fruity and refreshing sour beers, and bold stouts and porters with complex flavors. Regardless of the brewing style, we adhere to the quality and taste of our products. We want to keep you entertained, curious, and open to the new taste that we are aiming to serve you. Moon Lark meads connect the traditions of Polish meadmaking with new-wave techniques. We produce both session, easy-drinking versions and also strong, sweet, and barrel-aged meads with adjuncts. If you didn’t have a chance to discover the world of meads you will be surprised by the richness of new flavors. Hard seltzer is an alcoholic, fruity drink that took USA by storm. It is produced in a fermentation process – just like beer. We take on a craft approach to seltzers and pay attention to the highest quality of ingredients. We want to propose both light versions that are filled with fruits but and low- cal as well as thick, smoothie-like seltzers. Original and refreshing taste with relatively low alcohol content is the biggest advantage of hard seltzers. We value minimalism. That leads us to the world of Moon Lark, where we emphasize the simplistic yet modern form of branding for our beers, meads, and hard seltzers. We hope that you will easily find our products and taste them with pleasure.

See you on our side of the moon!

CBJ Tasting. Aroma is roasty and herbal. Opaque dark brown. Frothy foamy beige head. Flavourwise it starts off slightly low-key before herbs, liquorice and similar knock you over the head. Punchy. Light-medium bodied. Slick verging on oily. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Nice.

CBJ Tasting. Hazy-opaque gold. No head. Aroma has light fruit and chewy malts. Flavourwise it combines citrus and stone fruit with syrupy sweetness and a hint of resin. Underlying chewy malts. Medium bodied. Oily. Soft-average carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Decent but unexciting.

Clean, yes. But not really west coast. Lean pale malts, dried pale malts, citrus rind, a little piney bitterness. Drinks good though.

So so overall. Muted citrus. A little grainy pale malt. Drinkable but rather basic.

Tasting at CBJ, thanks to the team. Just a light haze on this paleish gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Airy palate, semi dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Thin malts, a thin creamy sweetness. Cooling pine. Light candyish hop fruits, a little tropical fruits. Light semi dry finish brings mild hop spice. Alright.
