About
Sörműves Kft.
Horizont Brewing is an innovative, indepentent craft brewery, one of the first big names in the craft brewing scene in Hungary. With many medals earned, we are proud to announce that Horizont Brewing was the first mid-European brewery to win the Alltech Craft Beer Cup in 2017 in Dublin. The Sailor Belle, a Belgian Witbier fermented with Saison yeast, is still one of our bestsellers.
What we like is the versatility of our consumers. Our beers are gladly consumed by beer connoisseurs and everyday beer drinkers, and we created our beer portfolio to fulfill everyone's beer needs. Our beers are available in all Michelin star restaurants in Hungary and can be found in most of the craft beer bars around Budapest.
We believe brewing is an art form.
We try expressing that through our labels as well not only by whats inside on the bottles. For that reason we worked with a local artist who created artworks we used on our labels, specifically capturing the essence of the character of the beer on the canvas.

Pours clear golden color with one finger of frothy white head, good retention. Citrusy, fruity and resinous aroma. Strong piney flavor, with citrusy kick, strong grapefruit and fruity background. Medium-light body, medium-high bitterness, dry finish. Old school double West Coast!

Found at Carrefour in Sint Maarten: pours black with small brownish head. Aroma is chocolate, coffee, vanilla, wood and bourbon. Soft carbonation. Sweetish. Low bitterness. Nice break from pale lagers on the island.

0.33l can. Aroma of passion fruit, mango, citrus and yoghurt. Pours dark golden color with creamy off-white head. Taste starts juicy tropical fruity with prevailing passion fruit, following is milky and toasted malty with notes of an ash, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is mild grassy bitter. Medium body, creamy texture and average carbonation in palate. Another passion fruit trick…

Közepes, drapp, tartós hab, fekete szín. Csokis, aszalt gyümölcsös, enyhén kávés illat. Csokis, kávés, aszalt gyümölcsös, kissé medvecukros íz. Közepesen testes, közepesen szénsavas, közepesen keserű. Jól sikerült porter.

Sweet, smooth and slightly roasty with loads of nutty notes, caramely toffee, hints of syrup, vanilla and oak. A bit thin bodied, quite sweet and syrupy pastry stout. Not much barrel notes

0.33l can. Opaque golden body with a lasting white head. Lemon zest, grapefruit, tangerine and grapes show up both in the aroma and the taste. Some grass and pine can be felt too. Moderately bitter, refreshing IPA. Nice one.
