Fra kran på Alehouse, Riga 8 Okt 13 i selskap med hyggelige kollegaer fra jobben. Lys aprikosfarget. Middels høyt skum. Aroma av gjær. Litt lag-lacing. Smaken har et visst sitruspreg. Litt for søt. Litt kjedelig.

Big 750ml swing-top bottle from Riga, kindly shared by Elisabeth and Stefan. Gives a good shot when opened. Cloudy apricot coloured body. Lasting off-white head. Rings of lace down the glass. Orange, apricot and mid-sweet malts on the nose. Ripe fruity taste added by almond and herbal malts. Citrus shells to the finish. Well hopped. Near full bodied. Decent slow sipper, quite heady to drink (session in Tårnrommet, Tromsø 09.01.2014).

750ml swing-top bottle kindly carried home from Riga by Elisabeth and Stefan for sharing. Thin white, remaining head. Cloudy golden coloured body. Pineapple and apricot on the nose. The taste is, in fact, made up by gherkin with citrus and spices to support it. Bittersweet fruity ending. Medium bodied. Exciting and different, and quite possible to enjoy, at least in the short run (session in Tromsø 09.01.2014).

30cl on tap at the brewpub. Hazy amber with an off-white head. Aroma is dominated by cummin, but it works out well in my book. Sweet Belgian flavours too, dried fruits and malt. Medium sweet with lovely and balanced cumin flavour. Never tried anything similar before. Certainly a nice one! (2013-12-27)

30cl on tap at the brewpub. Hazy deep golden to amber with a small, but lasting white head. Malty aroma with noticable hops, quite fruity with hints of citrus and a little bit of caramel. Moderate sweet and more flavourful than expected. Fairly lightbodied with carbonation a bit on the soft side. Nice session beer! --- Beer merged from original tick of Soho Svitins (Soho Dandy) on 27 Dec 2013 at 16:57 - Score: 6
