On tap at Kaķis Maisā, pours a deep dark mahogany brown with a small beige head. Aroma has a very complex smoked, peated malt character, with assertive woody hops in the backgrounds—not ants an invigorating aroma. Flavour is uniquely complex, with both aggressive peated smoke and aggressively hoppy bitterness that somehow work well together. Nothing easy-drinking or accessible about this, but I enjoy the layers and depth despite the harshness. Very good unique extreme beer.

On tap at Labietis - Central Market, pours a hazy dark golden orange with a small white head. Aroma has a nice bugginess upfront, along with gently tart plums, and gentle acidity. Flavour is very buggy, with tart plums, light acidity, and big bretty notes. A bit awkward cohesion but the individual notes are nice, and there’s little acidity—the brett seems to have reigned that in. Pleasant.

On tap at Labietis - Central Market, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma has soft caraway seeds upfront, with a soft wheaty base. Flavour is clean, with soft pillowy wheat serving a foundation for the nice caraway seed character. Not abrasive or even aggressive but made well. Solid.
