Appearance: Opaque deep brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma: Rich esters, roasted & toated, treacle, chocolate, oak, moderate alcohol. Taste: Light to medium sweet, light ending bitterness. Roasted, treacle, good chocolate, whisky, floral hop. Mouth feel: Medium to full body. Soft carbonation. Summary: Good. Not as good as expected.

Bottle. Dark brown, low head. Aroma: gingerbread, caramel, spices, ginger, sweet, a little brandy. Taste: sweet, caramel, gingerbread, ginger, cinnamon, a little chocolate and spiced rum, warms, not bad at all.

Dorée, pâle, pas mal de sédiments marqués de levure/houblon dans le verre, col blanc-cassé.
Arôme léger de coco avec un houblon Sabro qui est bien présent, et ce malgré la date de la bière. Rétro-nasal délicat de pin et résine (effet Mosaic). Petite note de ‘hop spiciness’ avec un retrait résineux léger. Petite note de coco du Sabro mais une teneur de bouche plutôt faible avec une effervescence que je trouve trop légère.

Appearance: Hazy yellow with a good white head. Aroma & taste: Citrus & tropical fruits, less pine & resin. Light sweet Light to medium bitter. Mouth feel: Medium body, average carbonation. Summary: Good.

Dorée, col fin crémeux blanc.
Arôme est frais avec une belle présence de smalts – cara pâle, léger toasté en rétro-nasal avec en support un houblonné oscillant vers le tropical – fruit de la passion, fruits à noyaux.
Palais présente une belle douceur fruitée avec une pointe de tropical, fruits à noyaux/verts. Le tout appuyé par une bonne rondeur de grains/malts pour un caractère assez classique américain. Effervescence moyenne/fiable avec une petite touche épicée houblonné en fin de bouche.
