Look: cloudy honey yellow, nice off-white head. Aroma: phenolic and spicy yeast, leathery, pears. Taste: medium dry, fruity, spicy, moderately phenolic. Light bitterness. Hoppy ending. Palate: light to medium body, average carbonation. Overall: ok, slightly harsh as for phenols.

Appearance: muddy yellow, one finger tall white head of low retention. Aroma: tropical fruit, catty, medicine, nuts. Taste: medium dry to light sweet, light to medium sour, citrus, tropical fruit, nutty, light plus bitterness. No sign of alcohol. Palate: light to medium body, soft carbonation. Overall: unusual, not for everyone.

Leaking can. That is what the remaining beer was like. Look: misty chestnut brown with a small and short-lived off-white head. Aroma: dried dates and figs, pear, biscuit cake, caramel, light alcohol. Taste: moderately sweet, lots of dried fruit, caramel, toast, pie crust, warming alcohol. Light bitterness. Palate: full body, soft carbonation. Overall: actually fairly good.

Look: peach fresh. Aroma: dominant natural peach, additional salt and wheat, spicy hints. Taste: light sweet and sour, massive genuine peach, salt and coriander in the background. Some bitter hop at ending. Palate: thick peach juice feel, soft carbonation. Overall: not much of any beer detected, stiil tasty.

Appearance: opaque deep brown to black with a decent tan head. Nose: roast, coffee, chocolate. Taste: roast, coffee, chocolate, light earth. Medium dry to light sweet. Light ending bitterness. Palate: medium minus body, average carbonation. Overall: good stout, an expensive one.

Look: petroleum black with a two finger tall brown head, that stays as a stable layer. Aroma: dark malts, chocolate waffles, biscuits, light brandy, distant dried fruit, salty hints. Taste: medium sweet, roast, coffee, chocolate pie, waffles, brandy. Palate: medium minus body, soft to average carbonation. Overall: a well made but pretty unremarkable pastry stout. There are masses of that kind nowadays.
