Bottle from Sterk @ home. Deep dark brown colour, but not opaque black. Rocky light beige head with 2mm retention. Aroma's: caramel malt, a bit drop and light fruit. Retronasal it's droppig, saline, sweetish, light fruit. Flavour is moderate sweet with a touch of fruity sourness and droppy salt. Medium bodied. Slight raisin and some drop in the finish. Not bad, but more an abbey Dubbel.

0.33 l bottle from 'Sterk Avondverkoop, best before May 2018. Clear, amber with a massive, foamy, stable, white head. Sweetish, fruity-floral and slightly yeasty-spicy aroma of peach, orange peel, some honey and traces of clove. Moderately sweet, slightly bitter, rather fruity-floral and a bit yeasty-spicy taste of apricot, peach, honey, some vanilla and hints of clove, followed by a short, moderately bitter, minimally tart, rather dry finish. Medium body, extremely effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Unfortunately over-carbonated, nevertheless a decent beer, way better than expected.

Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Quite dark brown with short lasting beige head. Strong licorice, solvent, alcohol, light milky notes, spicy yeast, almonds, peat, light overripe fruit, red wine, home distilled booze. Medium sweet and bitter and light sour. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. It’s very weird, and a lot going on! But more like a weird fruit wine/alcohol. Maybe it’s their yeast? This is not a succes.

Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Bit hazy amber with short lasting fizzy white head that leaves no trace. Looks a bit weird. Some caramel, light leaves, spicy yeast, alcohol, dry grains, light cardboard and oxidization. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with thin fizzy carbonation. It’s not terrible but also not quite there yet. Biere De Garde seems true to style by the way.

Clear red to amber beer, huge fluffy yellowish head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very floral, bit malty, yeast, caramel, dusty, spicy touch. MF: lively carbon, medium to light body. Taste: bit malty, some caramel, bitter touch, some citrus, spicy, yeast. Aftertaste: pretty dry, slightly sourish, hoppy touch, bit metallic. Not too bad, actually...
